What is an Advertiser’s Account?

An advertiser account is used by business owners or service providers who would like to have fair and square advertising opportunities.

How to create an Advertiser Account?

1. Go to www.lookna.com and click on the Sign In link.
2. Click on the Sign-Up button.
3. Type your name, last name, and email address.
4. Type in your desired password.
5. Provide your mobile phone number.
6. Click to Agree with Lookna’s Terms and Condition.
7. Click on the Create Account button.
8. Wait for the Lookna Verification Code that will be sent to your mobile phone.
9. Enter the code and click Verify.
10. Your account Dashboard will open up and you’re good to go.

Why do I need to verify my identity?

Advertisers must pass the verification process before they can have their ads running. The process will allow us to verify that they are really the person or company providing the services and not just a fraudulent service provider running a scam.

How long is the verification process?

It will depend on the documents that the advertiser will send. However, once the advertiser provided the necessary documents, Lookna shall take all reasonable steps to complete verification of the details provided by Advertiser within 2 working days.

How to create Listings?

1. Log in to your Lookna advertiser’s account.
2. Click +ADD LISTING button.
3. Provide your Business’ name.
4. Select the Category that best fits the nature of your business.
5. Provide your specific address details.
6. Provide your business phone number
7. Provide your business website (optional).
8. Click the Add Business button.

How can I view my ads?

To view your ads:
1. Sign in to your Advertiser’s account and go to the Dashboard.
2. Click on the “Eye” icon under Advertisements column.

Can the advertiser decline a job?

Yes. When the searcher connects with the advertiser and while the communication takes place between them, the advertiser can either accept or decline the job.

My Ads are not running, what can I do?

Your ads may not be running due to several reasons.
1. You have not started your ads yet.
2. Your ads are not yet approved.
3. You have not set a Payment Method for the ad.

How can I stop my ads from running?

1. Sign in and go to your Dashboard
2. Click on the Stop button next to the listing that you want to stop.

Please note that stopping the ads from running doesn’t mean that you have stopped your Ad Subscription as well. This will only stop a specific ad from displaying in the Lookna network.

Managing your Lookna Advertiser’s Account:

1. Your User Profile - contains the information you have entered into Lookna. This includes your Personal Information, Account Information and the verification documents you have submitted.
2. Your Dashboard - displays the listings you have created.
3. Messages - your conversations with services provider you have contacted.
4. Billing Account - This is where the payment methods, preferences, billing history and subscriptions are.


SEARCHER

What is a Searcher account?

A Searcher account is used by anyone who is looking for a specific service or product offered by the advertisers.
A Searcher account is created thru search page. Once the searcher starts communicating with the advertisers, the phone number he used will be saved in the database and will be used as his auto-created login info.

How to Search in Lookna:

1. Go to the Home or Search page.
2. Type the services or product that you are looking for.
3. Select the business you want to get in touch with. (We recommend that you choose the nearest service provider)

Choosing from the list of ads

The ads that you will see from the Search Result page will let you know which company offers the services you have searched for. By default, the list will show you the nearest service provider. However, you can filter the results by:
a. Keyword types
b. If the store is open or closed
c. Working hours and days
d. Price

Do I need to pay a fee to Lookna for using their search service?

Lookna is a free service to those who are using Lookna to search for service providers whom they can call to have a job done. However, if you want to have your ads displayed on Lookna, you must create an advertiser’s account, and pay for advertising fees.

How will the Searcher pay for the goods bought or job done?

After Searcher has received services or goods, the searcher shall be liable to pay the Advertiser according to the agreed terms between Searcher and Advertiser.

What can I do if I am not satisfied with the work provided?

As of this moment, there is no way to rate the services that were provided by the Advertisers. If in any case that the Searcher is not satisfied with the work provided, the Searcher may report it through the feedback form.

Remember, Lookna will never ask you for your email address, password, or any other account information in any email we send to you. Never share your password with anyone.

How do you protect the security and privacy of my Lookna account and other information I provide?

Your account security is our utmost concern, which is why we make sure to keep it safe and secure in our database.

Our website uses SSL technology to protect all the activities you do in Lookna. Once we receive your information (email, password, personal information, credit card details, etc), we encrypt it and store it in our database. Furthermore, we will only use the information you provided for its purpose and will never divulge to third party partners.

We do our best to keep your information safe in Lookna, however, you should also make sure that you practice safety procedures to keep your account safe.

Keeping your Lookna account and other information safe:

1. Never share your Lookna email address and password to anyone.
2. Lookna will never ask for your password through an email. Be vigilant with a phishing email that you might get that is asking for your Lookna or credit card information.
3. If you are using a public computer to access your Lookna account, make sure that you do not save your password on the computer. You must also log out of your Lookna account before leaving the computer. If possible, clear the cache and temporary internet files on the computer before leaving.

I want to cancel my Lookna account. How to do it?

We regret to know that you want to cancel your Lookna account. However, the only way to cancel your account (as of this moment) is to contact us directly and we will process your cancellation request on your behalf.

How much is the cost per listing?

Lookna offers 100% FREE for advertisers operating on fixed business locations.

What are the accepted payment options?

We accept Credit or Debit Card and Paypal.

How to add a new payment method?

To add a payment method to your new account:
1. Sign in and go to your Dashboard
2. Click on the Menu and click Billing Account
3. Go to Payment Methods
4. Under the Add New Payment Method, choose the payment method that you will use.
5. Provide the required information and click Save Changes.

How to change my Primary Payment method?

1. Sign in and go to your Dashboard
2. Click on the Menu and click Billing Account
3. Go to Payment Methods
4. Click Set as Primary Card button
5. Click OK to confirm

How can I remove my credit card info from Lookna?

1. Sign in and go to your Dashboard
2. Click on the Menu and click Billing Account
3. Go to Payment Methods
4. Click Remove button under the credit card you want to remove.

What can I do if my payment method has failed?

You must update your payment method to keep your ads running.

What are currencies accepted?

We accept all type of currencies.

What is Billing Cycle?

A billing cycle is recurring and is most often set to repeat on a monthly basis.

What is Primary Card?

Your primary card will be your default payment option; however, you can add an additional card that can be used as your payment method.

What are the fees that I need to pay?

The advertiser must subscribe to monthly ad subscription to have the ads running in Lookna. The advertiser will be charged $30 for either products or services and $60 for both services and products on a monthly basis.

I received an additional $1.00 charge on my card, what is that?

If you have recently updated, edited or added new credit card information, a charge of $1.00 USD may appear in your transaction history to verify that your card is active and in good standing.

What is Paypal?

Paypal is a third party website that serves as a payment gateway and alternative to traditional paper payment methods like bank checks and money orders. You must have an active Paypal account to be able to use it as a payment method.

I think I was overcharged, do you have a Statement of Account that I can download?

You can view your expenses by going to the advertiser dashboard in the billing history. You can either view your receipt or print it but there’s no download option yet.

How will I knowmy Billing Cycle?

Your billing cycle depends on your subscription date.

Account Creation

The Advertiser account allows you to create your business listings to promote your business online. Searchers can then view your ads, know the services you offer and can contact you directly.

To create an Advertiser's account:
1. Go to www.lookna.com
2. Click on the Sign Up button.
3. Type your name, last name, and email address.
4. Type in your desired password.
5. Provide your mobile phone number.

Why do I need to verify my identity?

Advertisers must pass the verification process before they can have their ads displayed. This is to make sure that they are really the person or company providing the services and not just a fraudulent service provider running a scam.

If the identity you have provided doesn’t match the person who came in to provide a service, the Searcher or the client has the right to refuse to have the job done and cancel the requested service without any hesitation.

The verified advertiser should always be the one to provide services to any clients who have requested their service.

How do you keep my identity and credit card details secure?

The safety of your identity is our utmost concern. Our website uses SSL technology. Furthermore, we encrypt the credit card number before saving it in our database. On the other hand, CCVs are not stored.

How much is the cost per listing?

Lookna doesn’t make use of pay-per-click charging system. We all know that these are prone to fraudulent acts, making the advertiser pay for non-converting clicks.

Verifying your Lookna account

Lookna was built with the goal of eliminating scams and fraud in the market. For us to achieve our goals, all Lookna accounts will undergo a verification process. This includes you sending us proof of identification and proof of address that is valid from your country of origin.

What are the restricted ads in Lookna?

Lookna prohibits the advertisement of the following items and services:
- Casino & gambling
- Illegal drugs and narcotics
- Adult items & services
- Guns, weapons and ammunition

We also have restrictions on some items and services you may advertise in Lookna. Lookna reserves the right to decline or disapprove listings and ads that violate its policies, terms and conditions.

How would I create my ads?

We would like to make things easier and fair in Lookna. Forget the old ways of research and composing of ads in limited characters. We provide simple and straightforward listing that shows important information about your business such as your business name, address, operating hours & more.

What are my responsibilities as an advertiser?

As a Lookna Advertiser, you are always responsible for ensuring that you comply with Lookna's policies, all applicable laws and regulations in the area you are advertising. Lookna has the right to cancel your listing if it deemed inappropriate.

However, if you want to claim a dispute over a cancelled listing, you can contact us directly and request for a review.

What will happen if I violate your policies?

When you create an ad listing, it will not run in the Lookna network immediately, it must pass the verification process first. If it gets disapproved, you may modify it to meet our standards and have it verified again.

For persistent violation of Lookna’s policies, we have the right to terminate your listings or account. You may no longer be able to advertise in Lookna. However, if you feel that there is a mistake, you may request for an account review by contacting us directly.

How to prevent account suspension?

If we find some violations in your listing and account, we will contact you and inform you about it. We will stop your listing so you can modify and have it verified.

You may want to review Lookna’s Advertising Agreement for more information and updates.

How to Request for an Appeal when my account has been suspended?

We do our best to keep Lookna’s listings accurate and won’t offend any other Lookna users. If you feel that there is an error in your account suspension, you may send us an appeal and account review. Contact us directly and we will investigate the situation and provide appropriate solutions.

Please be noted that we will only reinstate an account that was proven to be policies compliant.

Creating a listing in Lookna is a piece of cake. However, here are some best practices that you can use as a guide to make sure that you get the most out of it.

Choosing the right category for your business

It is important to choose the category that best fits your business. Each category comes with pre-added services and these services are the keywords that our searchers use to search. Make sure that you use all the keywords that are applicable to your services to get the most listings exposure.

Provide all of the needed information for your business

Searchers would surely want to know all of the possible information that they can get from your listing, and if you are the right person they are looking for, they will contact you for your services. Furthermore, making sure that they know if you are available or not will make their experience a better one. Of course, contacting someone who could be indisposed is frustrating, right?

Make use of the Lookna features.

Map - Make sure to drag the map marker to correctly pin your location, thus allowing possible clients to know where your physical location is. This can be an advantage as clients can drop by your store or business location to do business with you personally.

Avoid creating duplicate listings

Make your dashboard clear from clutter by making sure that you only create listings for your business once. Furthermore, making duplicates will not provide you double ad exposure.
